Test StandardsMetal Detector Test Rods. Rigid FDA Approved plastic dowel material, available in 18″ or 36″ long, 1/4″ or 1/2″ diameter. Test ball at each end for ease of use and a color coded label. Label will have Sphere type and size as well as Lot # for traceablilty. All lot numbers are traceable from this webstore. Test Rods are ideal for hard to reach gravity fall metal detector testing and pipeline systems. 1/4″ diameter rods will have the option of a 45 degree bend at one end of the rod. 1/4″ diameter rods are available for spheres sizes up to 4mm. 1/2″ diameter rods are available for sphere sizes up to 9mm.
